Dream Whisper Privacy Policy

NeuDesignLab LLC (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) recognizes the importance of protecting the personal information of users of the application “Dream Whisper” (hereinafter referred to as the “App”), which analyzes dream content input by users and returns results via AI. The Company complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (hereinafter referred to as the “APPI”) and endeavors to properly handle and protect personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”).

Currently, the App is provided free of charge; however, development of this App has involved expenses. If you wish to support the Company’s future services and technical development, we would appreciate your cooperation in the form of donations.

Article 1 (Definition of Personal Information and Scope of This Policy)

1. In this Policy, “personal information” refers to “personal information” as defined by the APPI. Other terms not otherwise defined herein shall be interpreted in accordance with the YumeRoom Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”).
2. The Company acknowledges that the App may be used worldwide, including by residents of the EU (European Economic Area) and the State of California in the United States, and has developed this Policy with respect for the mandatory laws and regulations of such regions (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
3. This Policy applies to all users of the App. However, additional provisions may apply depending on the user’s region (e.g., residents of the EEA—EU Member States, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein). For details, please refer to Article 12 of this Policy.

Article 2 (Personal Information Collected and Purposes of Use)

In providing services through the App, the Company collects and uses the following personal information for the purposes set forth below.

1. Personal Information Collected in Connection with Service Provision in the App

A) Information Collected

• Information about dreams entered by the user, Analysis Results, conversation history necessary for the App’s analysis

B) Purposes of Use (in accordance with the Terms, including):

1. To implement the AI analysis function of the App, by transmitting data to the Company’s servers and to third-party services utilized by the Company (such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT API), and to deliver Analysis Results and responses to the User
2. To deepen user understanding and awareness via AI-based conversations in the App
3. To organize, visualize, and share AI Analysis Results with the User
4. To store the App’s analysis results on servers
5. To provide information and respond to inquiries about the App
